We are closing the 2007 curtain with a very happy beginning to the new year.
We are very satisfied with our 2007 achievements though we still feel there are lots room for improvements.

May 2008 brings more success and achievements to Ballbusters!

Ballbusters won second place. We were quite devastated but were recharged and felt so blessed during the prize giving ceremony because Yosh Rau gave each of us a peck. I got more because I asked for it. Thank you Zealous for beating us (again).

All is well after a "heated" week...

To say that I was not pissed is not a correct scale to measure my feelings, but to stoop as low as them, is not a noble thing either. Therefore I apologize for any harsh words written here before. I am better than that.

Anyhow, here are the pictures for NPL fifth Leg and Werdna Hol Final Leg, where we won 3rd Place and champion for the latter.

Ballbusters became the Champion for the final leg of Werdna Hol.It was unexpected since we have been struggling to gain back our "throne" on the 2nd and 3rd leg. We did pretty bad in those legs. This winning truly brought our glory back We won the first and last leg. Sweet indeed.
First runner up was team Adrenalin and followed by team Demons Devils.
Overall Champion was team Kabhi Kushi.

ps: The 4th and Fifth leg was combined, so logically we were thinking points earned during the final leg woould be doubled, and led ballbusters to become the overall champion. But the organizer thinks otherwise.

Tough Fight

Yes, I am getting my EGO SL. Yeay!

Yes, we won.

We won third place after a very tough fight during the semi final with Team ZEALOUS. Zealous won 1st place followed by Banzai.
Words were that the Final game between Banzai and Zealous were quite boring, easy win for Zealous. But the game between Ballbusters and Zealous were a hell of fight. 3games, we both won one game and a draw during the last game which lead to a One on One game. It was a very close fight, ballbusters obviously did not have the luck, the pellet bounced!



Whenever Ballbusters are around, chances are, there'd be some drama. What would the paintball industries without "divas" like us, right? ( sorry I am being sarcastic, I must learn to be extra careful with my words nowadays, :) )

Give us a reason to complain and we sure as lightning strike will complain. After all, what would a "drama" be without all the chaos.

Last Friday, My captain and I had a demo game shooting for ESPN Sportscenter.
I actually skipped work for this, thinking that Rashid Salleh will be doingthe interview himself.

I was wrong.

Nevertheless, I had fun playing for free that day. :)

NPL Final Leg - Padang astaka

Its the moment I have been waiting for.
Tomorrow will be the last leg of the National Paintball league. We won the last leg held in Malacca last August. Somehow, this time winning means more than anything to me. Probably because I ( and the rest of the girls in my team) want to prove that we did win because we played well not because BB have already imported guys into the team. Probably because someone has generously dared me to win another podium placing and i'd get a marker of my choice, an Ego Sl year 08, or Dm8 or Ego Dark SL. I have yet to make up my mind of which marker I shall asked for but I sure as hell wants a podium placing this time.

When Ballbusters won and became champion for two major leagues in a row few months ago, words came out that we won because we are now a mixed team and won because of the help of the guys. Two points to respont to that:

One
Even if we were and will continue play as a mix team, if you really see us play, you'd know that the girls are no one you can look down on. We girls are even faster, and sharper than most of the guys. We hardly lost at an one on one game. If seeing if believing, than you you will believe it.

Two
We are not even playing in an ALL LADIES DIVISION. What is the point having all girls team when we still have to play with all guys team? Some teams said we won because we had guys in our team, and this is coming from an all guys team who were beaten by a team with 3 girls and 2 guys. Kelakar kan mentality diorang nih? And even when Balbusters was still an all girls team , we did beat the hell out of them, the top 3 all guys team! So save your smart opinions to your smartself ok. Even when we had guys in our team, we tried to maximize the girls in our line up whenever we meet another all girls team, whom we have also beaten when we were all girls.

Some says Ballbusters are a team to be reckon with, some says we are spoilt, but we will prove the latter wrong.

We have been training hard every week since Syawal, and I even had 3 days straight of training since wednesday, all for the love of the game, and to win big this time!

They left for...

Most of my paintball friends are gone for PALS series tournament in Philiphines. They should have arrived by now. Im starting to miss them already. Ballbusters are not going, so i basically have no solid reason to go, except just to leisure around.
I do wish i can join them, but last minutes plan never work for me, especially when it involves air travelling. No no Not for me.

My paintball friends have been pestering me to go to Philiphines with them this Oct. I wish i could go, but i felt the money spent on the flight ticket is better use on my next lens. Dont you think so?

Plus, I cant travel in my normal style during fasting month, can I?

Look out for the psychopath

Its so sickening.
No human should be kept alive after doing such horrendous, torturous thing to an innocent little girl. This psychopath merely kills for the joy of watching, for his eccentric sexual pleasure. It also satisfies their consuming need for control over life and death. These type of psychopaths lack a vital component of the human personality - which most people take for granted.

CONSIENCE.

Either they have no conscience or their conscience is too weak to inhibit the violence they commit. They kill without guilt and remorse.

Now, the press are putting the blame of the parents. They have allegedly published stories that the father had financial problems and loan debts and that these had led to the murder and sexual abuse of the poor child. Datuk Seri mohamed Nazri Aziz said today that Nurin's parents could be hauled up for negligence following her death, under Child Act 2001.
Yes the law is still law, but to give such statement openly when the parents are grieving and still shocked by the death of their daughter, is heartless.
The press are making headlines to sell their newspapers, and the ministers are making statement to make visibility. All for their own benefit.

Of Seven and 8

Weeks ago, on the 7th of July (777), my paintball friends and I booked the whole premier Cinema in Berjaya Times Square to watch TRANSFORMERS. It was awesome and way too cool to watch with just a bunch of friends. There were almost 40 of us..(maybe more) am not too sure but there were only us in there. I was glad we went in a big group!

2 weeks ago, I had my birthday celebrations. I had a few because I celebrated with different sets of friends for few days. Who says its lonely being single? The best was probably the one where my team mates made a surprise (konon, bnot so surprise because iI knew about it) for me and another surprise party by my colleagues. They even gave me a nice litle cute handbag. A day to remember. It was 29/7, the year I turned 29 , on 2007. Its 297297 to me.

On this very day, 8th August, nothing special happened. But next year it'll be 8th August 2008, 888. I should plan something big for that day, shouldnt I?

PS: Ballbusters are going to Mallaca for NPL 4th leg. Wish us all the luck in the world...We want to win again this time!

One of them is a paintball player and a friend of ours. Captain Nor Azlan Termuzi.
I only realized that while watching TV3 Nightline last nite.




It is a great loss to everyone who knew him, Al Fatihah.

ps:The crash was the 17th in 40 years involving Nuri helicopters. I dont know how many more crashes until the Ministry would call off the operation of Nuri.

I watched POTC 3 ~ At World's End Last nite. It was an awesome movie and it would have been a very very very exciting and thrilling one if I wasn't just as sleepy. But I was all freshen up when Will Turner re-appeared with a cleaner and sharper look! I fell in love with him, all over again! Captain Jack Sparrow as always has been so amusing! This time, you'd be amazed how he has a lot of his father's traits.

Ok...Im too lazy to write anything ...but thats about it, all the happenings during the weekend. Couldnt take any pictures during training, as our module that day require much effort and concentration.

Wednesday's Anatomy

I love Wednesday. Every week, come Wednesday, I'd be so excited to go home, as early as I can.

I will have early dinner and prep myself in front of the TV.
6 Degrees,American Idol, Heroes and Grey's Anatomy, CSI MIami and Angela's Eyes. I really dont have any reasons to be bored or "left out" by staying home, being a bum. Its the only nite I have for myself. I'm busy every other nite with classes, gym and occasional drinks or dinner with friends. Weekends are even more hectic with trainings and photo shoots.

I love Grey's Anatomy the most. I have the season 1 and 2 DVD which I watched in 2 days straight and gotten too involved with all the characters.I mean, who wouldn't? Yang is a soft hearted bitch, Grey is a sweet puppy in love, Izzie is so passionate and loving, Karev is a sweet devil, George is ever so cute and cuddly, Shepherd is insanely charming and Mark Sloan is heavenly sexy!

Last nite was about ham and egg. Im still an egg, apparently.

I think we all have a little bit of Yang, Karev, Grey, Izzie, George and Shepherd in us.

• In 1985, the movie "Gotcha!", starring Anthony Edwards as a college student who was part of a game where several college students hunted one another around campus with paintball markers.
• In 2005, rapper B-Real (of Cypress Hill), wrote the song Play it for Real about the sport of paintball. B-Real currently plays competitive paintball and has contributed to the Greg Hastings' series of Paintball Games.
• A simulation of the sport of paintball, using NPPL-like tournament play, and featuring actual professional paintball players and licensed-equipment from actual paintball manufacturers, was created by game developer The Whole Experience. The game, Greg Hastings Tournament Paintball, was released in 2004, and a sequel of the game, Greg Hastings Tournament Paintball MAX'D, was released in 2005.
• The independent film Blackballed: The Bobby Dukes Story was about paintball, and brought some interest and attention to the sport from the outside community. It was one of the first widely released films to be primarily about paintball.

• Jackass: The Movie features several scenes where various cast members, wearing masks, get shot at close range by paintball guns. One scene involves one of them spinning around on a giant dart-board while being shot at.
• In the movie RV, the Gornickes aim paintball markers out of the bus to try and stop the Monro family, who react by swerving off to an exit.
• The Guys from the TV series, American Chopper, played a woods game in one of their episodes.

You shouldnt be mislead by the movies featured in red fonts. The director/scripwriter didnt do their homework thoroughly.

I even collected 5 bruises that day. Ooouch!

Broken

Since getting an operation seems a bit way out of my budget, I went for an alternative medication last nite. Apparently the company's insurance can cover up to RM50K but its a "pay and claim" kind of thing. So since I dont think Im up to spend all my savings and fear they might somehow reject my claim, I seek other alternatives.

A traditional one, the uncle didnt do any massage or whatsoever,he just pinched here and there around my knee cap, and spotted that I have some problem where the ACL and the Colateral Ligament is situated. That's where my doctor pointed too. He did what he use to do, recite some Surah and just put his finger there and my knee cap. Maybe im over reacting or overexcited, but it did feel better afterwards. I can cross my legs, swing it, and "duduk bersimpuh" without much difficulties" as I use to have.

But that's not the reason Im writing.

The Uncle also said, when he first saw me last night, after few minutes of chatting, that I have had 3 series of broken heart to which is why Im like so lazy to have a relationship anymore.

I just laughed and wonder (in my heart) how in the world did he know!

So I am totally broken.

I'm the girl with a broken knee and a broken heart.

Fortunately, that's the only thing broken now, but I believe it'll heal. I want it to heal. Especially the knee.

The heart...I think Im ok ...Im happy the way things are now. NO MAN NO CRY!

But RMJ can sweep me off my feet, anytime!

MRI

Went to see my ortho surgeon for my wrecked knees. He thought it might be my ACL but wanted me to get an MRI for him to be sure since its an old injury...like 10 years ago. Little I knew, MRI cost RM800!!! And if it is my ACL, then the cost of the operation is RM18k , per knee. I have 2 knees, with 2 injuries. So thats RM36K!

Now I seriously and desperately have to marry RMJ!

Would you be kind enough to set up a fund for me?

When I started this blog, it was solely for the purpose of sharing the experiences I had with my paintball team, but the intention gradually vanished as i cant separate my personal thoughts. I had 6 other blogs, all for different purposes but as time goes by, and as I get busier each day, I became too lazy to write into different blogs for every different entries. So sometimes whenever Im too busy, I wrote personal stuffs here. Some are juicy gossips.

A very close friend called the other day, told me the news, which I already knew.

N: Gosh, cant believe he did that. I mean, he's being very inconsiderate! How are you feeling ?? are you ok?

Me: I'm ok...

N: I never know he is like that. I mean, he used to be a nice and such a decent guy, or so I thought.

Me: Well, geeks/ nerds at school always turned out to be an a**h***. But he has all the rights to do so anyway. so let him be la..

N: yeah, but whatever he is doing right now totally contradicts to the kind of person he claims to be!

Me: Biarlah, he is too insignificant for me to bother pun. He was just a "phase" anyway. Plus, whatever he is doing, he is just proving what a liar he was to me and a liar he still is. For whatever reason, if what he did was a good thing, then 1000 of good things shall come back to him. But if what he did to me was bad, then 1000 bad things will come and haunt him. That's the universal rules right?

N: I'm glad you're no longer with him anyway. You are much better without him, it's good you got to know his true colours sooner. Im soooo glad i never proceeded anyhting with him. God knows what would happend to me.

Me: Yeah, I had to experience it for you! hahahahahah. Its ok la N, what goes around comes around. The last 6 months has been the most exciting time of my life anyway, learnt a lot, and I have dispossed my "a**h***" radar for good. The last it detected was the worst a**h** ever! This time around, i wont just tangkap muat like I did before anymore!

N: Yeah. Definitely, you should! I dont know what i would do if I were you. But, I know you deserve a lot better than him.

Me: Of course.

We ended the conversation with a big laugh!

Chances are, i'll be flat broke and will start spending on my credit cards again( which i have settled all to zero balance yesterday!), but how can i resist this???!

I have been spending every Friday nite with different groups of friends partying and having fun, catching up and exchanging gossips. Its a good therapy once in a while. Too much of partying makes me sick too though. Pics to be posted soon, its still in my Cybershot unfortunately.

Trainings have been fruitful, awesome time with the A1 marker althought it keeps coming up with slight technical problems. This coming weekend, i'll be shooting with an EGO 07! yeay!

On the 15th of April, Diana, Ila and myself played as a guest player for a team in an UMNO tournament and we got 2nd place. FUn, with 25 pellets eacg game, we really had to learn to shoot sparingly!

Last Night

I have been so occupied with work I dont even have time to blog!
So many activities during the last weekend, wanted to blog it but time is not on my side yet.
Mean while, I just want to share a song which I am so into right now. Its so catchy and so 80's. And its from P.Diddy!..hehehe

Ballbusters in Kuantan

It was 2nd leg of National Paintball League last weekend, which was held in Padang Kamunting. Mas, Diana and I departed early friday morning with some players form other teams. We reached Kuantan at about 1pm and had lunch and a restaurant, feeling so hungry and we had Ikan Patin Gulai Tempoyak. I was too hungry and engrossed on my food i forgot to take some pictures.

Checked in at Hyatt Regency and dived into the pool before we could do anything. Our room was facing the sea and it was on teh ground floor, we could literallyt jump from our beds, and run and dive straight to the pool! The view was awesome.

Ballbusters only had 5 players for this tournament, so we had no replacement whatsoever. We were the technical crew, we were the players and we were the leaders of our own team. It was tiring but the fact that we beat most of the strong all male teams just made it all worth it. We qualified to the quater finals and put up a strong fight against our opponents. Although we didnt make it to the finals, we were happy because we have improved from the last leg and we manage to win over some very strong teams. And I dare to say we are still the strongest female team in Malaysia, unless other teams can prove otherwise. We are very grateful for all the help and coaching by Nadzri and Terry, who have stood by us through all the games! Also to all Demons family member who have made the tournament fun and memorable.

The nights were filled with sumptious dinner and laughters, and I slept early every night of my stay there, hence no more BREAK OUTS on my face!

I also had a great session of photographing my team mates and friends, and they were such a good sport!

Trigger Happy

I think I have taken close to 2000 pictures in the duration of 8 days. 3 events, 2000 pictures, one camera, one woman show. Who ever said photography is easy is GILA. It's tiring having to hold the camera for more than 3 hours with a bulky 80-200 lens ok. Luckily I had a good pratise with my heavy marker before.

There's still shy malaysian girls out there, who would gazed away from my camera every time its pointing towards them. Good in a way, but susah for my assignment lah!

I had a very eventful weekend, resulting a heavy migraine on Monday, thus, sick leave on Monday.

I took photographs for the "kenduri cukur jambul" baby Dhiya Balqis on saturday, and a whole day of paintball on Sunday. Had this "Platun" shooting for astro from 7am and continued with my weekly training with the team from 3pm to 6pm. Man, I was so exhausted.

I went for a Thai Foot Massage with my soul sisters and brothers on sunday nite after a hefty and sumptious dinner, and end up sleeping and even snoring because it was too relaxing. hahaha!
