It all started when my Big Boss told everyone during our Annual Dinner/Company trip that I am a National Paintball player ( read- representing MALAYSIA) last year. Since then whenever everyone in the office needs a brief introduction about me to somebody new in the company, they always refer me as "she is a national paintballer...bla..bla...bla...etc".
What a big lie to say that I wasn't enjoying all the unintended limelight but for fearing they might found out that I am not actually representing MALAYSIA themselves from someone else(but my team is a considerably strong team in its division in MALAYSIA tau...), I had to always put in plain words the actual status (damn!).
Today my new Section Head had a One on One session with each of us, and the first thing he asked was," Are you the one who is a National Paintballer"?
I gave him a big smile, but it soon faded.
I told him the same old enligthment and he ended up interested to try the sports, in fact asked me to arrange for the whole team! (if im doing MLM, i'd gotten my self a good prospect!)hehehehe
So, moral of the story is, sentiasalah berlaku jujur!
One another note, he also asked me my age, and when I told him, he said I dont look my age. I told him that its a disadvantage sometimes, especially in my line of work, because people tend not to take me seriously.
He told me to put on more make up and dress profesionally.
Huh???
Tak cukup tebalkah make-up ku? Tak cukup stylo-mylo kah dressing ku?
Damn!
This weekend will be the last weekend before the next NPL series which will be held in MAPAAC, Astaka PJ.
